 we first did a test on all the poems we read then we started on a little project about making our own poems about our ethnicity my poem is about october feast in germany.

 we finished up the worksheet we worked on friday about the poems we have read.

 we went over the poem mother to son by Langston hughes then we took notes about it then answered questions about it.

 we were going to present our projects but someone broke it so we had to write 10 songs that describes our life right now and 10 items that you would fine in my trash can.

 we read and did questions for chapter 7. then finished up our projects.

 first we started the class by doing the american lit common assessment then after that we got assigned a project to either list 10 things that you would find in the trash from one of the characters in the great gatsby or 10 websites they would use or make a soundtrack of the novel. i’m doing the soundtrack one and I basically figured out what songs I want to pick and how they fit in with the book.
